Following on the heels of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday events on Monday of this week, the next Friday Forum will reprise the August 26, 2011 broadcast of Rachel Kaub's interview with Susan Klopfer, who wrote several histories of the civil rights movement in Mississippi. We will feature excerpts from the audio book version of "Who Killed Emmett Till". The killing of this 14-year-old boy is thought by many to mark the beginning of the mid-twentieth century's "modern" civil rights movement that ultimately led to the Civil Rights Act of 1964. That's Friday at 1 p.m. on 91.7 f.m.
